Charlotte Refugee Family Support

Donation protected
Hi Family and Friends -

Wanted to share the story of a refugee family that I've been blessed to be-friend in Charlotte over these past few years.

The mother, father and two young boys lost their home in Syria, and were forced to move to a refugee camp  in Turkey as a result.  After a year of living in the camp, they were then put on a plane to North Carolina (a place they didn't even know existed), and given no choice but to start again.

The father has spent the last 3 years working 2-3 jobs at one time. While the mother has spent the last few years working in a factory.  Their goal was simple - save enough money to start their own business, and provide safety and security for their family.

The father was finally starting to get a taste of success this past year. His export mechanical business was up and running, and he was able to move his family into a safe home. Last Friday, the family was devastated to find that all of the father's tools from the mechanical shop, and also thousands of dollars invested from savings, had been stolen. At this point, the father has no way to continue his business without replacing the tools, and therefore does not have the means to provide for his family.

We are asking for a donation of $7,500 to replace the tools stolen last Friday, and also provide security for this family's future. They have worked far too hard to reach this point to lose it all.

For the privacy of this family, I am leaving their names anonymous - they are far too humble to ask for assistance. We appreciate any and all support!
