UPDATE: Charlotte Ortega lost her long battle with cancer yesterday around 3pm She left this earth peacefully in her grandmothers arms. I have closed the fundraiser, as all of Charlottes funeral costs, fees and plot at The Gate of Heaven has been paid in FULL thanks to the generosity of everyone that was able to contribute to this beautiful child ❤️I cant thank you all enough.

Hi I have never done one of these before but Iam asking for your help for my best friend since 5th Grade, Shannon Ortega (Bishop)s beautiful little girl Charlotte

Back in 2020 she was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor, which was operable, spent a year in the hospital receiving chemotherapy and stem cell transplants. Fast forward to today, another malignant tumor was found in her spine. She is currently at Columbia Presbyterian and the doctors says she has “days to weeks left”. This happened so fast and Charlottes parents are really struggling to afford a proper burial, plot and funeral for their little girl, who was suppssed to start kindergarten this fall. They would like to bury her at The Gates of Heaven in Valhalla so Iam asking for any donation, as small as $1 so I can help them send their beautiful baby to heaven.
