Cornmarket Insurance Services are helping a former colleague and friend Charlotte to help raise money and awareness for Cancer Focus Northern Ireland.

Charlotte and her two young daughters Olivia and Lilah lives were changed forever when Charlotte's husband, Gavin received a diagnosis of terminal cancer at just 39 - only three months shy of his 40th birthday. With no chemotherapy or radiotherapy as an option, the only treatment available was a course of drugs to prolong his life and allow more time with his family.

Cancer Focus NI’s Family Support team were there for the Nicholas family at a time when they were ready to explore emotions and prepare for their new future without a husband and father. When Gavin sadly passed away February 11 2024, surrounded by his family the Family Support team from Cancer Focus NI were "an absolute lifeline" for the Nicholas family.
