Kaivan, my beautiful son-in-law, has been diagnosed with an aggressive lymphoma with CNS involvement. He is expected to be in hospital for a minimum of 3-6 months undergoing a gruelling treatment regime.

Needless to say, both he and Charlotte are off work, and we’re looking after the children as a family so she can spend as much time as possible supporting him.

Nobody wants to think about money at a time like this, but the reality is that bills still need to be paid and children still need to be fed and multiple hospital trips a day need to be paid for and cancer really doesn’t care how financially equipped you are for that. The truth is, we’re absolutely not.

If we can take the pressure off them a little as they buckle in for the fight of their lives, it would help enormously.

We can’t even begin to process the magnitude of this.
