Charlotte Daisy

Many of you know Keith, Gwen, Paige, Brooke, Jackson and Charlotte Durkee. You may know one of the Durkee’s from Marblehead, Danvers, Peabody Schools, Bishop Fenwick, Austin Prep, Danvers Music and Theatre Program, Soccer, Hockey, or from Gwen’s Sunday Church Facebook page. However you may be connected to the Durkee's, we are hoping that you can send their youngest child, Charlotte Daisy, positive energy.

Charlotte was recently diagnosed with a form of leukemia known as APL (Acute promyelocytic leukemia). Although the prognosis is good, it is going to be a long road ahead, not only for Charlotte but for Gwen and Keith and the rest of the family. Charlotte will undergo chemotherapy treatment in Boston for the next 5 weeks. Once she returns home, she will be commuting into Boston for treatment for another 8 months.

As you could only imagine, this will significantly impact the families’ financial situation. At this time, we are asking Gwen and Keith’s friends and family to help. The money raised will support household expenses, traveling expenses to and from Boston, parking, and any other expenses the Durkee’s insurance company will not cover.
