Charlotte Barton - Medical Assistance and Care

Donation protected
12-Year-Old Charlotte Barton was admitted into the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at Cook Childrens Medical Center in Fort Worth, TX on 9/27/22. Charlotte suffered a severe anaphylactic episode which stopped her heart for five minutes, cutting off the flow of oxygen to her brain. Doctors revived her and Charlotte has been housed in the PICU Nero-specialist facility ever since, breathing with the aid of a ventilator. Charlotte will likely need continuous care for the rest of her life, and doctors continue to attempt to stabilize her while assessing the extent of her brain injuries.

Charlotte is a warrior who would go above and beyond for others. She is an advocate for kids with food allergies among her friends and peers, and is never afraid to do what is right. Charlotte always sees the good in people and will not hesitate to think of others before herself. She is kind, loving, and is the brightest light in the darkest of rooms.

Charlotte is surrounded by family and friends supporting her. Due to her need for specialized care, medical expenses are in excess of $160,000 after only 3 days in the ICU. Please join us in raising funds to support her through this long journey - any amount and all prayers are appreciated.
