This page has been created for a brother; a father, a son and an uncle.  Charlie has never been the type of man to ask for help, in fact he has been the one to always help us, guide us and defend us, but after a single vehicle motorcycle accident while on a ride in West Virginia, Charlie came across some lose gravel and debris on the roadway while going around a corner. This caused him to lose control of his bike, throwing him into a guardrail. Even though it was at a low to moderate speed the impact of him hitting the guardrail was severe.

Flight for Life took him to a Trauma Center where he spent two weeks going through numerous surgeries. After suffering a multitude of injuries, including broken and fractured pelvis, broken femur, broken ribs, fractured L5 and L7 vertebrae and a multitude of other flesh wounds. He has been transported home to Florida and is now in another hospital at the U of F where more surgery is needed and he is now fighting a serious infection.

Nobody could ever imagine our big brother, that unstoppable uncle, your mentor to be so vulnerable while in the prime of his life. This is where friends, family and others can come together to help in this crucial time of need.

Charlie has had is own business all of his life, with no employees and now his income has stopped and the medical bills are mounting. His recovery will be long and he will need to learn to walk again, he is a fighter! He is a winner! But he needs a little bit of our help to get him through this.
