Last month, when we delivered the sad news that we thought we would need to close on November 9th, the out-pouring from the community (and the cries for us to stay open) truly blew us away.
We are staying open for November and December, and person after person kept saying we needed to start a GoFundMe page for people to give for us to stay open -- so here it is. The more we funds we raise, will give us time to implement a much needed option for customers: a membership option instead of paying per class, which we will try to implement in December/January.
BUT, in order for us to figure out those details, we've taken the advice from the community to set up this fundraiser to get us through January to implement memberships.
We hate to ask people to donate, but we also keep hearing from people that want to donate and don't know how to do it. So it is with optimistic reluctance, that we've created this page. Each dollar raised will also go towards rent and the implementation of our membership program (along with tweaks to our store like slightly reducing staffing needs, improving our selection of toys, space rental for birthdays... all ideas that are coming from you, the community!)
**Note: For anyone that gives $100 or more, your donation amount will go towards the monthly membership program that will provide unlimited story-times, so you won’t be double charged for it. So if you give $100 or $200, etc, it will go towards the monthly membership! But we need to surpass our goal to give us the time to make this really possible. Thank you all!***
