Charlotte’s Service Dog Needs Surgery!

Hello, Friends & Family & Friends of Friends. Maverick is Charlotte’s Service dog. He is in Emergency Care at the moment for unknown intentional issue/blockage. He has spent the last couple days trying really hard to be as normal as possible for his girl Charlotte but today my momma instincts said he needed to be seen. He is being kept over night with fluids and running lots of tests for the issues he is having. Charlotte & Maverick have been a pair for just over a year and has just recently finished his service dog training. She cannot be without her boy & I know he is fighting hard to get better to be back home with his girl as soon as possible. If you can take some time to share her story it would mean the world to Charlotte, her family and Maverick! His surgery costs & hospital stay with meds, dietary supplements, IVs, Ultra Sounds/ Xrays and continued supports to bring our boy home is currently expected to be $10,000 or more. It would mean the world to all of us if you could share Charlotte and Mavericks story in hopes we can continue to get the services we need to bring him home for his girl. Charlotte benefits tremendously from Maverick not just through his therapeutic presence but his companionship. He helps her navigate and regulate her emotional as well as sensory regulations every minute of everyday. The hardest part is Charlotte is unable to see her boy until he is released because of Covid they’re not allowing visitors. We’re surround Charlotte with lots of love, cuddles and more as she sits and worries about her boy. Not only does Maverick work for Charlotte, she also has 9 brothers and sisters that are greatly effected by his presence. He keeps tabs on everyone in the house and provides 24/7 therapeutic cuddles and sensory help all day and night long. The whole entire Duffy family would greatly appreciate a share of our story and any contribution towards Maverick’s surgery and recovery costs that you can.
