I am Charlie Cannold and just last year I started playing trumpet, and my music teacher told me that he thought I had a serious talent. I was going places and playing my trumpet, and heads turned… I was getting tons of compliments from random people who I didn’t  even know! I was the first 4th grader in the history of my entire school to be part of the Jazz Band, the only band you AUDITION for! It’s suppose to be for grades 5-8, but I was the exception. I was playing beside the best trumpet players in my school.

This year I auditioned for Jazz Band and made it again. There are 2 people in Jazz that have silver trumpets. They are very expensive, but they improve sound and are used once you get more advanced. If you see someone playing silver trumpet, their talents are usually exceptional.

As you may already know, I have been renting a trumpet from the school. It’s lease is up at the end of the school year, and I want to be able to buy another trumpet that could maybe last me for the rest of my CAREER!! This would be amazing if I could get a silver trumpet that I could use for the rest of my life.

The silver trumpets I have been looking at are worth $2000-$2700, but if I have the help of you, hopefully I can reach that goal. I would like to try to hopefully reach that goal by my upcoming birthday, July 28. I am willing to not get any presents during special ocassions, but instead I hope you consider donating to this gofundme page.It would mean sooooooo much to me if I could start playing with my very own silver trumpet! Please consider donating for every holiday between now and my birthday.

I have been looking at Jupiter, Bach, and Yamaha silver trumpets. The ones that I have been told to try out by my music teacher were Yamaha trumpets, and I really like them! If the trumpet that I like is less than $2700 I will use the extra money for private lessons so that I can have a professional listen to me and really determine what trumpet I should get. So this way you aren’t putting $2700 into the arms of a 10 year old and telling him to buy a silver trumpet he likes without any professional guidance.
