Hello everyone, my name is Charlie. I am an Australian Shepherd/Cattle Dog mix who loves to play outside and follow my family around. About a year ago, I tore my ACL in my back right leg. This caused me to no longer have the ability to run and play outside. I tried healing on my own, but I never fully recovered, and that led to me recently tearing my ACL and meniscus in my other back leg. I can no longer put pressure on it as it is very painful and makes me super sad. I can no longer do my favorite things like sleeping with my mom or laying on the couch with my sister. Many daily tasks that are easy for other dogs, like eating, using the bathroom, and walking up the stairs, have become extremely challenging. My family has chosen to move forward with getting me surgery, but due to our current financial state as a family, we can't afford it. This is why I want to ask you and your very pawsome hearts for some help. I know my journey isn't over, and I want a second chance at living the life I've dreamt of regaining.
