As most people are aware, all 4 kids took up freestyle martial arts when we moved here to Perth 2 years ago. Charlie also started Muay Thai shortly after and the other 3 have since followed in his footsteps!!

Watching Charlies growth, resilience, dedication, commitment and hard work has been amazing and he has been nominated and also selected to represent Australia in a junior Muay Thai team in Bangkok in March 2026.

Obviously Stuart works away to try and make ends meet but with 4 young kids, myself only working a few hours a week, let alone everyday living costs, all 4 kids birthdays between mid November and mid January, things are already really stretched but we would love to get Charlie there for this experience. It would only be Charlie and myself that attend as passports for us 2 alone are over $600.

There is a set fee involved for the 10 nights in Bankgkok and this price involves a hotel, breakfast, team shirts, a team bag, competition entry fees and the training for Charlie.

Then there's flights which are currently $1500 to $2000 so need to ideally get those booked asap.

We are looking at about $5000 altogether for the accomodation package, flights and passports. We would love to do a few touristy things while we are there, time and money permitting and obviously we need to have money for food etc too.

Stuart will need to take time off work, which we have already started planning for but we also have all 4 kids birthdays and Xmas between mid November and the end of January to plan for so we would really appreciate any little bit of help towards getting our boy to Bangkok and help take some of the strain off of our little family.
