Hi everyone!

my name is Kat and my dog Charlie has a spindle cell tumor we’ve tried to have removed but it grew back so now we are looking at amputation of his right hind leg.

We have been saving money and originally had more time but his tumor burst and now Charlie keeps chewing through the wound getting it infected causing us to have to have the surgery much sooner than we wanted. We’ve been keeping it bandaged but he just chews off the bandage even with a cone. With the infection we keep having to take him back to the vet which is digging into our surgery fund.

His total surgery cost is low estimated at $4200. We had about half of that saved but it’s getting less now with us having to take him into procedures to keep the wound clean until his surgery day.

I really don’t like asking for things but we just gotta get him through 9 days so anything helps for my sweetest boy.
