Charlie’s Final Wish: Living Fully & Giving Back
Donation protected
Just days after her 19th birthday in March 2024, Chandler “Charlie's” world was turned upside down when she was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive cancer that started in her heart and later spread throughout her body. Now, as her 20th birthday approaches, she is facing the most difficult decision of her life.
At first, treatment showed promise, but this relentless cancer has adapted and become resistant. Charlie’s heart tumor has grown substantially, and what started as just a few brain metastases has now multiplied into more than 20 tumors. After many deep discussions with her doctors and loved ones, she has made the incredibly brave decision to discontinue chemotherapy after completing one final course of radiation—multiple days of targeted brain radiation followed by 10 days of heart radiation. Her medical team hopes this will ease her symptoms, giving her the best possible quality of life in the time she has left.
Rather than spending her days feeling sick from treatments that are no longer working, Charlie is choosing to embrace life on her own terms. She is looking forward to checking off some incredible bucket list dreams—taking a few college courses to reconnect with her love of learning, embarking on long-planned trips to Germany and the Bahamas, and surrounding herself with love, joy, and new experiences.
How Your Support Helps Charlie
Education – Tuition, books, and transportation so Charlie can enjoy the experience of learning once more.
Experiences that bring joy – While her airfare and accommodations for Germany and the Bahamas are covered, Charlie would love to make the most of these dream trips—whether by bringing home meaningful souvenirs or planning additional special experiences along the way.
Self-expression & confidence – Tattoos and piercings that allow Charlie to feel beautiful and comfortable in her skin.
Medical & comfort care – Expenses for medications, treatments, and transportation that provide relief and support her well-being.
Charlie has faced this journey with extraordinary courage and grace. Now, we have the chance to help her fill the time she has left with love, adventure, and unforgettable memories.
If Charlie is unable to use all the funds, she has asked that any remaining balance be donated to a charity that is close to her heart—ensuring that her legacy continues through kindness.
Your generosity means everything—not just to Charlie, but to the family and friends who love her beyond words. Thank you for helping her fill this time with joy, love, and unforgettable memories.
