Charlie's fight for Kai's future.

Hi, my name is Charlie Spence. This is a very uncomfortable thing for me to do, but I am hoping that my family, community, and friends might be open to helping in any way that they can during a very difficult period in my life. I have been fighting a battle for many years to ensure that my son, Kai, has an active, present, and loving father in his life. This legal battle has completely drained my resources, both financially and emotionally. I believe strongly that I have done everything within my power and am unfortunately up against what seems like an insurmountable force against me. I have been told that sometimes the hardest thing to do is to actually ask for help, so while I am not entirely comfortable doing this, my love for my son drives me. I don't often speak about my day to day struggles, but have been working very hard to gain financial stability, emotional wellness, and the foundation to be in my son's life the way that I think he deserves. Any money raised here will go towards my never-ending legal bills and a car repair to ensure that I am able to get to/from our visits. I love my son. I am committed to doing anything I can to be in his life.
