Charlie’s assistance dog training

Hi my name is Jo and this is Charlie my Assistance Dog Prospect.

Charlie is undergoing specialist training with Part of the Pack Assistance Dogs to help me expand my world.

After studying to become an EMT with the ambulance service my health became to hard to manage.

I have now been diagnosed with ME/CFS, Fibromyalgia and a few of conditions including ADHD.

Many aspects of these conditions affect my ability to access day to day life. The goal is for Charlie to be trained to perform tasks to assist me with my mobility, or alert oncoming dizzy spells.

Due to the fact that charity waiting lists are years long, I have decided to owner train him myself with the support of a specialist trainer. With this support does come costs and it is likely the process will take around 2 years to complete. We would like to give Charlie the absolute best chance to succeed and to do that we must ask for help from our community.
