Charlie Brandon, loving wife to Gene Brandon and mother of five recently caught a bad case of pneumonia. After complications and a bad infection of the blood she was admitted to the ICU in a coma. Over the next few days the doctors did all they could to clean her blood and keep her organs from shutting down. While they were successful in staving off organ failure they were not able to save her legs, and had to remove them both above the knee.  As of now she has still not regained conciousness, however she is showing signs of  improvement. We are hoping she wakes up soon.  This money is not only for her medical bills but also the family since Gene will have to take a significant amount of time off of work to help with their children and with Charlie, while she adjusts to the changes in her life.
