**Help Charlie the Corgi get the surgery he need to play again**
I want to introduce you to my spirited little man, Charlie. He is a two-year-old Cardigan Welsh Corgi with a zest for life that is truly admirable. He is the adventurous type who loves to play fetch, run around, and explore the world. He is strong and determined- I remember a time when Charlie pulled a muscle during one of our walks, and despite the pain, he insisted on continuing on his own. That’s just who he is.
Recently, Charlie was diagnosed with a torn CCL, and the vet has recommended TPLO surgery, which is the canine equivalent of ACL surgery. Hearing this news broke my heart. My poor puppy has been, and is, in pain, and this surgery is crucial for his recovery and future well-being.
For those in the Kingston area, you might recognize Charlie as the corgi in the yellow jacket or the speedy, stubby-legged dog who’s always fetching a ball with incredible enthusiasm. He’s known for his great fashion sense and boundless energy. Whether you know him or not, Charlie is a loving, energetic, and shy pup who brings joy to everyone he meets.
The cost of Charlie’s surgery and recovery is over $10,000. As a student, I don’t have the means to cover this expense, and his insurance won’t cover it either. This is where I humbly ask for your generosity and support. Any amount you can contribute will go towards his procedure and recovery, helping to ease the financial burden and get Charlie back on his feet.
Thank you so very much in advance for your kindness and support. Your contribution will make a world of difference for my little guy, ensuring he can continue to run, jump, and play pain-free. Let’s get Charlie back to doing what he loves most—being the adventurous, happy corgi that he is.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Arianna (Charlie’s mom)
