Hi, my name is Lynsey and this is my story.
i found out I was pregnant the start off the year through sexual assault and I decided to keep the baby knowing I’d be raising him/ her as a single parent. I found out I was expecting a baby boy which I decided to name him Charlie. During the pregnancy I have struggled massively with my health and wellbeing, I’ve been really poorly with blood clots, bleeding, severe sickness, bacterial infections, chest infections and In the end pneumonia. During the last two months off my pregnancy I have been struggling with breathing/ sickness/ constant coughing, my health was deteriorating I wasn’t getting any better regardless on many hospital visits/ admissions. Each time the hospital told me Charlie’s heart rate was okay & he was healthy despite not moving on scans. I was sent home
and Was told to return the following day to check my blood pressure ( it was high)
& Charlie’s heart however they couldn’t find it. After going for a scan off Charlie I was told the words no parent should ever have to hear, your baby has passed away. My son, my baby died in my belly with only two days until his due date. Charlie died to save my life as he knew
I was struggling and I could potentially not survive the labour and delivery. My Charlie let himself go as he knew I had to be a mummy to his big sister ( hazel Age6 and Noah Age4). Charlie died for me to live, as much as I’d give anything for it to be the other way, but he knew Hazel and Noah needed me.
due to the circumstances I am struggling to afford funeral costs for my boy, he truly deserves the best send off so because off this I have made a go fund me on hoping people can help donate to help with funeral costs so my boy, my hero gets the send off he deserves. A parent should never bury there child especially one who never got the chance to even breathe his first breath in the world. All funds will go towards Charlie’s send off which he deserves. If you are unable to donate even a share would be appreciated.
