Hi, My name is John and I am fundraising for an annual stray cat neutering project in Corfu, Greece.

The project is partly in memory of Charlie who we rescued under the project and lived a meaningful but short life, and for all those many stray cats who suffer needlessly, short of food and care, constantly pregnant, having kittens that rarely survive. Those that do are prone to blindness, infection, parasites and malnutrition.

The project runs for a week every year at a local property in central Corfu with volunteers like us giving freely of our time to support a fully qualified vet and neuter as many cats as we can to ensure a sustainable and healthy local stray cat population.

We work with local volunteers and ensure all cats we treat are given medication, food and flea/ worm treatment.

All of us give our time freely and use our own funds to support the project, the vet's time is provided free by a Greek Animal Charity.

In the last 2 years we have neutered over 200 cats, significantly improving the dire stray cat welfare situation in Corfu.

We hope to do more neutering weeks annually, with better equipment and increase our geographic range on the island to give help where needed.

None of the donations will go to travel, accomodation, administration or unnecessary costs. It will not go to cat rescue. It will all go to fund our 2026 neutering week project providing new cages, traps, sanitary supplies, medication and cat food.
