We live in a scary world and at times it can strike us with life threatening scenarios. Three beautiful people in our direct community were stricken with an unexpected occurrence that resulted in being held at gunpoint with robbery of their vehicle. Some personal belongings and irreplaceable items were included during this event but fortunately they are all safe! The post traumatic feelings that linger from this type of experience can stick with somebody for quite sometime. We want to ask for everyone's support for Charlie McKnight Becka Jo and Jessica Lynn. We are so glad you are all safe but want to share this as an opportunity for learning that the city is not safe!! Living here or becoming used to traveling and hanging out here in Philadelphia allows us to feel more comfortable, but staying safe and cautious is still very crucial!! It's strongly recommended to travel in large groups if possible..getting dropped off in front of any event you are attending via Uber or Lyft is the best way, especially those in more dangerous areas.
