It's $5 Friday! ❤️

This fundraiser, we're hoping to raise funds for three very special cats.

Lionel is preparing for his VBO ear surgery here in Ottawa with the surgeon we know and trust. (Between $5700-$6600 as per estimate)

Charlie is receiving palliative care as we focus on keeping him comfortable and surrounded by love here at the sanctuary for whatever time he has left. We would love for him to pass with us as well. (I’ve included the cost we had paid for Toast when he passed. Charlie’s will be similar not including comfort care before hand).

Echo will soon need dental surgery so she can finally eat comfortably and start her new chapter feeling her best. (We don’t have the estimate yet but it is typically between $1700-$3000 depending on the level of surgery needed after her X-rays).

One of the most incredible things about this community is that with so many of you here, $5 from a lot of people adds up incredibly fast. It allows us to say "yes" when these cats need us most.

To make today even more fun, the amazingly talented Muriel has donated one of her beautiful handmade quilts for us to help fundraise. At the end of fundraiser (Aug 24) we'll randomly select one person from everyone who donates today to receive it. Thank you, Muriel, for always finding such thoughtful ways to help the cats. ❤️
