Charlie Gibbs (Charles) Memorial Fund

Charlie (Charles) Gibbs was born May 23rd, 1959 in Lubbock, TX as the youngest of 3.  He was a sweet, kind, and giving person with a heart of gold. Whether Charlie was serving his country with the Army, driving OTR (Over the road), or working with cement, he was one of the hardest working guys one could ever meet. Anyone who had Charlie on their crew was a lucky person. As a husband, father, stepfather, and/or friend, he never knew a stranger, and was always willing to help whomever was in need.

Roughly two years ago, Charlie was diagnosed with Stage 3 Pancreatic cancer. Through a series of ups and downs, he fought a hard battle with a happy heart and a smile. Sadly, he changed his address to a heavenly home to be with his momma, daddy, and sweet puppy, Star, on June 9th, 2020. Even though he is no longer with us physically, he will live on in our hearts, and through the kindness of his friends and family.

Throughout the two year battle, Charlie and his wife, Tina, have experienced many financial hardships, often having to pick and choose which medical expenses to finance. As one can assume, bills started piling up with the possibility of loosing their home.

His family asks that you donate within your means. Any donations will go to fulfilling Charlie's final wishes and supporting his family through this difficult time. The family welcomes any sweet memories of Charlie that you may want to share.
