Hi my name is Bernadette and I am fundraising for my beautiful friend Lindsay’s little boy Charlie.

Charlie has been in and out of hospital for the last 7 years. Diagnosed with a chronic neurological disorder of the large intestine

Charlie has had to endure lots of surgeries and treatments with the most recent one being the biggest the closing off his colon. On going treatment is needed with more big surgeries in the future.

Charlie is one of the kindest most caring little boys you will ever meet. He never complains about all he has to endure. For years Charlie has missed going to School and doing what his friends are doing because of his medical condition. Instead of complaining he is worrying about his Mum knowing how she always puts his needs first whilst also caring for his big sister Evie.

Lindsay has researched tirelessly and has made sure that Charlie has a private medical team that can best treat him but that has come at a huge cost financially and emotionally over 7 years.

Linds is a single stay at home mum with a home business and has been juggling it all whilst having to focus day and night on Charlie living in and out of the hospital and on going recovery, treatments, ongoing medical tests and medical support.

Lindsay is someone who would never ask for help always looking to help others but deal with her own struggles by herself. Because of this I am determined with your help that together we can take some financial pressure off by helping with some of the medical expenses for Charlie’s xo going care. Hopefully we can give Lindsay some breathing space so that she can concentrate on the 24 hour care of her precious boy knowing that they have some rough years still in front of them.
