Help Charlie with Medical Expenses

Hi everyone! As many of you know, my dad Charlie Townsley has been dealing with health issues for years. He has a blood condition called Antiphospholipid syndrome, in which the immune system mistakenly creates antibodies that attack tissues in the body. These antibodies can cause blood clots to form in arteries and veins. Many of you already know he has been treating these blood clots, but the medication he is on doesn't always prevent them from happening, leading to him clotting in different parts of his body that causes severe problems. He has seen many specialists and doctors for the past few months trying to get better help controlling the clotting and other health issues from the previous clots that have already damaged his body.

The following steps from his specialists and doctors were to get him accepted into the Mayo Clinic in AZ, where they specialize in treating his syndrome. Unfortunately, his doctors have sent a referral for him through his insurance, and the insurance has denied him. The only chance at getting him the help he needs will be for him to be accepted into the Clinic and pay out of pocket for treatment. We have done whatever we can to appeal the insurance claim and get it covered, and we have run out of options. My dad needs help covering the cost of getting into the Clinic and with medical expenses that are not covered because he cannot work at this time with his condition.

Any help is greatly appreciated, and we hope to get him into the Clinic and treat this as soon as possible so my dad can get back to living a healthy life!
