For Charlie Emery's Brain Surgery

Hi, I'm Ellen and I'm a friend of Charlie & Lisa's. As you may now know, Charlie unfortunately has Parkinsons Disease, a hideous degenerative disease that affects the brain and causes tremors, fine motor skills issues, speech and really the whole body, and has no cure. It really is a horrible disease as you would know.

Charlie has consulted with a surgeon who specialises in brain surgery that can have huge, life changing results, and he has been approved for surgery in 2024 but of course, it's an incredibly expensive surgery. The health care fund will only pay up to $100,000 and Charlie and Lisa have to make up the rest, and the rest is approximately $60K- $80K.

This in itself has caused Charlie distress as who can possibly come up with that sort of money, so now after years of Charlie always being the guy who helps everyone else, it's our turn as a community help him. We will be having lots of fun fundraising events, and all money will go into this account, then be passed to them when the surgery is booked and the money is needed.
