I am reaching out on behalf of our family to help my sons lay their father, Charlie Earl Welsh, to rest.

Charlie was a father of 7 children in total: (Sons with Angel:) Dominic, Izaya, Alija; (Daughter with Kayla:) Cambria; (Sons with Robin:) Avery, Ryan, and Reyes.

Charlie was found passed by the river with his Bible. Throughout the years, we kept in touch when he would reach out to ask how the boys and I were doing. We had a mutual love and respect for one another. I will always cherish the time we spent, our conversations, and our memories. He will forever be in our hearts and will never be forgotten.

Our eldest son, Dominic, has stepped up to handle decisions, and we are all here to support him. We have been in open communication with his loved ones (brothers and the mothers of his children) as we process and grieve, encouraging and strengthening one another through phone calls, texts, and prayers.

Charlie loved his family and was dearly loved and is missed, and we are asking for any amount of donations to help with the cost of his cremation, burial, headstone and memorial service/celebration of life.

May God grant us the peace that passes all understanding, knowing that the Lord is near to the brokenhearted and to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord as we continue to navigate this world without him until we see him again in heaven. We thank God for his life and all the love, prayers, and support.
