Hi, I'm Charlie's Mum Lisa.
Charlie is 7 years old and has been on the NHS waiting list for 2 and a year's for an ADHD assessment and treatment. In that time, he's deteriorated emotionally, socially and academically.
We've sent 4 prioritisation forms off to the NHS ADHD team with no success, even though his behaviour has been severe enough to warrant 5 suspensions from his primary school in 2025 alone.
It's got to the point where I am called out of work most days to collect him because he can't cope in school. I can't wait any longer on the NHS for help. My job is on the line, I'm a single parent desperate to keep my son in education and desperate to hold down my job.
I work part time and simply can't afford the costs alone for Charlie to have a private ADHD assessment and treatment. Going private significantly reduces the waiting time to as little as 7 days depending on the how much you can pay.
I initially need to raise £1740 to be on the 6-8 weeks waiting list for Charlie to be assessed and treated. There is a 7 day waiting list option but that is £2850. I doubt I'll raise that much but if I do then it will help Charlie sooner rather than later.
These prices are based on ADHD 360's pricing which can be found on their website.
Please give what you can to help us as a family and to help Charlie have the best chance at life.
Thank you
