When you hear the name, Charlie Darling, you can't help but envision the sweetest smile and the most tender spirit. Many of us have been blessed to know Charlie over the past 6 years as her life brought endless joy to everyone around her.

We first met the Miethe family during one of many sports seasons together. When I finally introduced myself to Nicole, Emerson and Charlie, I knew I had met lifelong friends. We spent many sports seasons together, sharing snacks and laughing at how little we actually knew about whichever sport was being played. When our daughter Naomi was big enough to walk, I would often find her snuggled up next to Charlie during games, snacking on goldfish and playing baby dolls. One of my favorite memories of the girls playing together was the several hours they spent digging in the dirt to pass the time during one of many spring baseball games. The two precious girls were covered in dirt, from head to toe, and loved every minute of their time together. They loved being with each other and Nicole and I were thankful for their friendship.

On Friday, March 17, 2023, Charlie Darling left this earth and entered the Kingdom of Heaven.

While we know the Lord is near to the brokenhearted, the grief of Charlie's death is unspeakable.

As friends of the Miethe family, we want to gather and support them during this time. Please pray for each member of their family as they grieve and celebrate Charlie's precious life.

This fund is being set up to help ease the financial burden of this season. Our goal is to cover funeral expenses. We hope to bless them with much more.
