We are heartbroken by the sudden loss of our beloved Charlie Carmody on March 29th.  He was a remarkable husband, father, son, brother, teacher, leader, and friend of so many in Grand Blanc.  Charlie was a pillar of the community, and touched the lives of thousands of students, athletes, parents, family, and friends.  He is survived by loving wife Chris, son Jon (15), and daughter Olivia (14).

So many people have asked how they might be able to help my brother Charlie's family in this time.  In lieu of flowers or other gifts, we have established an education fund for Jonathan and Olivia's future college expenses, and all contributions will be used to fund "Jon" and "O's" attendance at college or university.  My family greatly appreciates the tremendous outpouring of prayers and support from across the Grand Blanc community and the entire country.
