Helping Charlie through her recovery

Hi my names Chantelle close friend of Charlie. As some of you well know our beautiful Charlie underwent a very tough heart transplant on Sunday 12th March.

We are forever grateful to the donor and the donors family for giving Charlie a second chance at the life she most certainly deserves.

Complications have made this a very tough, long recovery, Charlie nearly lost her leg through having had a blood clot in her lower leg she underwent another surgery to prevent loosing the leg but unfortunately necrosis of the muscle started to set in and she had to have muscle removed. Charlie will need more surgery to rectify this complication thus making her recovery a lot harder and longer.

Myself and her family understand this is going to be a very long road for our girl to recovery and changes will need to be made to help charlie along the way, such as helping her to learn to walk again and this is just a way for us to show our love and support for her by helping her to have one less stress in her life right now and make this whole process a little easier for her and her family at this time.

Charlie for obvious reasons has been out of work for a while and will continue to do so. A page will be made in due course to include what this will help with along with her private instagram of her journey in her own words. The surgeons and nurses of The Royal Papworth Hospital have been fantastic at looking after her and we will forever be grateful for all they have done to get her back to her friends and family!❤️
