Charlie and Caleb Wall, Starting From Scratch

My son’s best friend Caleb Wall and his father lost EVERYTHING in a house fire last week. Thankfully they were not hurt. They are now scrambling to get on their feet with as little disruption to Caleb attending his first year of trade school and work and his dad’s work as a carpenter, as possible. While they look to find housing, they will need to replace ALL household items, beds, bedding, desks, dressers, nightstands, lamps, couch, chairs, table, kitchen items, clothes, shoes … and everything else that you can think of that it takes to make a house a home. They are starting from nothing and in shock from losing their home, belongings and the thought of what could have been even worse. We want to help them to recover the losses and get through this holiday season with hope, knowing that people care and the burden they carry, when shared by all becomes healing kindness and support of the community.
