Charli Strong

Hi, my name is Katy and along with my friend Tina we are fundraising for our good friend/co worker Charli. She has been battling stage 4 breast cancer for the last almost 6 years. At her initial diagnoses doctors gave her a life expectancy of 1 year, almost 6 years later she is defying the odds. Charli does not have any children of her own, but all of us at work have become that to her. This past fall Charli had major brain surgery to remove tumors that had unfortunately metastasized. Since then, she’s been struggling a lot with her health and trying to make it to work which has been difficult. With her cancer diagnosis, she comes to work five days a week and works extremely hard to make sure that she keeps her insurance for her continuous medical treatments. Recently, she has been unable to come to work and she’s been in and out of the hospital . We have never met a stronger person than her and every day she amazes us with her strength. On top of having to deal with these major health issues and continuing to fight for her life, we wanted to lift a little bit of the financial burden for Charli so she can focus so 100% on her health.
