As you know because of covid 19, we along with many others are experiencing financial hardships. Our studio downtown Waterloo has become an integral part of downtown but is also the hub of our business. We work out of many hospitals nationwide and that provides support to our photographers in the field, printing for the photographers and a place for our payroll,, customer service etc to make the company run.
Hospitals suspended our photography services nationwide on March 13 which means we lost all income and we shut business down immediately with only $2000 in the checking and a mass of unpaid bills like payroll taxes, rent and phone bills. I personally think we will be the last to get back to work because we work in the hospitals who are being cautious about letting any visitors back in and i don't blame them.
At this point we are going to have to close the studio because we cannot afford the rent, utilities, phone bill etc. We owe $6000 in back rent, phone bills etc.
I started this business by myself 11 years ago and with a small loan from a friend who believed in me. I paid him back and continued to grow the business. i am absolutely heartbroken about this and hate asking for handouts but i am at a loss because we did not get an grants. if you can help, i appreciate you and i promise to give back to others when i am able.
