Charley Edge

Hi everyone as some of you may know one of our players Charley Edge broke his leg in our first pre season friendly. After a speedy operation Charley returned to work a week ago but has had a set back with his recovery and has had to have another operation due to an infection.

Unfortunately, Charley is now looking at a longer recovery time which means a longer period off work. With no sick pay from work and unable to play football and a family to provide for we as a club must come together and help one of our own.

To help raise money I (and hopefully others along the way) will be doing a 12 hour walk in and around Oswestry. I will be honest this isn’t the hardest challenge out there but I just want to do something to hopefully help raise more money and also, I want to do this as quickly as possible so Charley and his family can get some much needed help.

The walk will start at 4am Sunday 31st August and will finish at 4pm Sunday afternoon where I hope to finish near or in The Bell Inn Oswestry!
