Charley Co. XVII is a USA Boxing registered club and veteran-owned facility that teaches, trains, and mentors people of all ages in the sport of boxing. On December 5 - 12, the USA Boxing National Championships are in Shreveport, Louisiana. Our members have been working extra hard this year to achieve the ultimate goal of competing at a national level. 5 boxers stand out, ages 9, 10, 15, and 24, led by Magic Allen, 39, an Army veteran. Through countless hours of hard work and dedication, each has earned the right to represent Oswego in Shreveport this year.
Unfortunately, many have experienced hard times in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. We want to reward these boxers for their hard work by assisting with their costs to participate. We are asking for your assistance in helping defray travel and living costs, uniforms, and incidental expenses.
Whatever you can donate would be greatly appreciated. And make sure to share this with your family and friends. Charley Co. is a 501 (c) 3 registered charitable organization. Donations are tax deductible. Thank you!
