Charley chase her soccer dream!

We’re reaching out to ask for your support in helping an incredibly passionate and talented young athlete take the next big step in her soccer journey.

Charley is a 13-year-old girl from Echuca, Victoria, who plays for the Echuca Moama Border Raiders. Her love for soccer began when she made the brave decision to switch from football to soccer- simply because she wanted to play in an all-girls team. With no under 12 girls football available at the time, Charley gave soccer a go….. and never looked back.

In her very first season, she not only fell in love with the game but also won Best and Fairest- a testament to her natural talent and dedication. In 2024 she earned a spot on the BASL Representative Team, and in 2025, she returned to her local club while also playing in a competitive squad team.

Charley’s commitment is truly inspiring. She trains herself every other day, attends one-on-one coaching sessions and is rarely seen without a ball at her feet. Her dream? To become a professional soccer player.

Now Charley has been given an incredible opportunity:to play in the OC Championship in California, USA- a prestigious tournament that could open doors to her future in the sport. The cost of travel, accommodation and tournament fees is significant, and we’d love for a parent to accompany her to support her through this exciting experience.
