Charletta Gilbert

Charletta started with the Microtel in May of 2020, left and then came back in 2022. She has held many positions while she was here; breakfast host, housekeeping supervisor, front desk agent – she did it all. You always knew when she was in the room and if she had something to say, you were definitely going to hear it! She wore her compassion for others on her sleeve and always stood up for what she believed was right. Her presence will be greatly missed.

She leaves behind her wife & 3 children, Antwon 18, Anaijah 17, and Prince 11. She had no past history of medical concerns, so it was a complete surprise when she experienced a sudden medical emergency that ultimately took her life. She passed on 3/12/24 at age 36.
