Hey y'all. The past 4 years have been hard. Really hard. And I've isolated from many of you in an attempt to hide and protect you from my daily struggle with the dark side of my addiction. I've missed you all and want to share that I'm actively in treatment and working really hard to fight my way back to a life I can be proud of. I complete my program in 3 weeks and am reaching out for help with my next steps. I'm staying in Charleston, SC to protect my sobriety and entering sober living. They do not accept insurance and I have to have a deposit and first months rent to be considered before I interview. My recovery couch suggested this route and I am humbly asking for contributions from you for my deposit and rent until I can get a job and get on my feet. These next steps are crucial to my recovery and I'm trying to keep doing the next right thing this time. A sober living house is where I need to be for the accountability and community to stay clean.
