Charleston Outlaws Rugby Championship run

Congratulations are in order for the Charleston Outlaws Rugby club as they are the 2021-22 Carolinas Union D3 Men's Champions!

Outlaws will now be on the road as they make a run for Nationals.

They will need your help to do so.

 

Outlaws finished the season strong as the second seed in the Union's south division. They then traveled to North Carolina to beat the Union north division leader, an undefeated club, Onslow Rugby in the Carolinas Semi-final. As a result, the following week, the Outlaws battled another undefeated club, the Savannah Shamrocks, in the Carolinas Union Championship Final. Outlaws prevailed with an 8-3 win!

 

The next step in the Outlaw journey is the USA South Regionals, April 23-24, Knoxville, TN. The competition will include the Florida Union, Georgia Union, and True South(AL, MS, LA, TN, and West FL) Championship teams. The winner here will advance to the Super Regional at the Aveva Sports Complex in Houston, TX, on May 7. South winner vs. Red River will be awarded a spot in the National Championship Semi-Finals, May 21, at a location yet to be announced.

 

Post COVID travel has proven prohibitively expensive. We are asking that our supporters, extended Outlaw family, and fans at-large help the club cover travel and related expenses. Any contribution you can afford is greatly appreciated.

 

The Outlaws are honored to represent the Union and carry on the tradition of being a fierce competitor in USA rugby. This season's players have shown incredible dedication and effort in achieving their successes. We are grateful for the love and support you have shown the club.
