Charleston BIPOC Owned Bodega Relief Fund

This fund is to support BIPOC corner stores owners, local to the Charleston area, whose stores have been affected by the protests and looting taking place here in the Charleston area. 
While it's important to that we continue to fight back aggressively against the systemic oppression of people of color taking place in this country, it's super important to be mindful of the fact that the same people of color we are out there fighting for are also small business owners.
Through the course of these protests, many corner stores and bodega's have been looted and destroyed- it's completely nonsensical because having lived in Charleston my whole life, I know that these are all businesses own by local BIPOC. WE ALL rely on these corner store's, many of these owner's having been taking care of us who live downtown daily for years. These types of businesses are integral to the community and it's absolutely doing more of a disservice to this cause to destroy them.
This is heartbreaking.

Your withdrawal plan to get the funds from the campaign to the ultimate beneficiaries: Funds will be split evenly amongst the beneficiaries, whom I will be meeting with in person to distribute the funds to them
