Charles-Chuck-Boltz Emergency Fund

Hi it’s Mary & Dave, Charles parents. On 8-14 he seriously injured his spine at work. He had emergency surgery but is left with paralysis in his right lower leg as well as complete loss of other bodily functions. There is a slight chance in months some of this may heal to an extent. He’s still in the hospital but will be transferred to an acute rehab before coming home. He is recently separated and was just getting back on his feet. Just moved into a used RV to live in year round and has $500 monthly payments on. The unsteady medal steps aren’t easy on anyone but he can’t come home with them. Part of the $ we hope to raise will go towards either a handicap ramp or a safer stairway. Also medical supplies, travel expenses to rehab to Magee or UPenn for us to know how to help him & encourage him, help with covering rent and & bills while we wait for what ever workmen’s comp he’s eligible for. He worked 3 different jobs at different locations but all under 1 ownership. So he may only get a small amount. Charles was hurt helping someone else to do their job because they couldn’t do it. That’s the kind of man he is. Would do anything to help someone in need & now he’s Really in need. Dave & I are disabled. We do as much as we can as often as we can but we’re so far from financially rich so as humbling as it is to ask we have to! Our son is worth it!! Thank you so very much for your consideration!
