Charles "Chuck' Straceny memorial fund

I don't know where to start.  I never thought I'd have to write something like this in regards to Chuck, in the past tense, because he is no longer with us.  This is one of the hardest things I've ever had to do but I want to do this because of if you know Chuck the way I did, he would to make sure that Veronica, his girlfriend is cared for, at least in the short-term so she can grieve stress free and ease any financial burden that may come with missing work during this sudden loss.
On early Sunday morning, September 13th, our great creator had another plan for Chuck and called him home. Chuck was one of my best friends, and I was lucky to have known him for over 25 years.  He wasn't just big in stature, but those who knew "Chucky Blue Eyes" knew him for his big personality and heart. Chuck was all about his honesty, integrity and came about his strong character and respect via his parents.  And let's not forget his sense of humour and unforgettable laugh.  Give him a drink or four, and he would entertain you for hours! Chuck was everyone's friend, there for your support, and am hoping by setting up this gofundme, we can offer our one last gesture to Chuck, and offer our support to his girlfriend Veronica, especially more so, during this difficult time for her losing her partner in life.  


We are all grieving and still and shock. Losing someone suddenly, leaves a void that is irreplaceable.  Chuck was one of a kind and we all have great memories and stories of him.   Please feel free to add pictures and comments or stories you may have of Chuck.
