Life has an unpredictable way of reminding us how precious it is.
On Thursday, February 15th, our beloved Charles was involved in a serious motorcycle accident that has dramatically changed the course of his daily life.
Since early Thursday morning, Charles has courageously faced multiple surgeries with the kind of grit and grace we've always known him for. He suffered multiple fractures in his back and arm and has had
severe trauma to his left leg and foot. He is scheduled for additional surgeries to mend his leg and foot, followed by intensive rehabilitation for his other extensive injuries.
This Gofundme aims to lighten the financial load so that Charles can focus fully on healing and taking each day as it comes. Unfortunately, he did not have health insurance at the time of his accident so the reality of mounting medical expenses, rehabilitation costs, and the inevitable adjustments to his home and lifestyle loom large.
All funds raised will be used to help cover:
- The extensive medical treatments and surgeries already undergone and those yet to come.
- Rehabilitation sessions that will be crucial for his journey to regain mobility and adapt to life after such a significant trauma.
- Necessary modifications to his living space to accommodate his recovery needs and ensure safety and accessibility.
- Lost wages and living expenses during the period he will be unable to work.
