Hoping to give my dad a proper send off

My dad passed away April 11th 2025.

He was my absolute rock, always there for me and gave me and my children the most amazing life.

My upbringing was full of fun and incredible memories, my dad worked so hard to give me a wonderful childhood. He was in the merchant navy, worked at the portsmouth historic dockyard, worked in the NAAFI butchers and worked for the council at the continental ferry port for over 20 years.

My dad suffered so much throughout his life, and after my mum passed away, his health deteriorated over the years and the last 3 years have been so incredibly tough, but he always kept as strong as possible for me. He fought so hard after becoming seriously unwell, and I know that he held on as long as he could even though he was struggling. The last month of his life he was diagnosed with leukemia, and was in and out of hospital with pneumonia for 8 months. But he tried not to let anything bring him down.

I'd love to be able to give him a proper funeral and make it a celebration because even though he was so strong, he had such a hard life and deserves this at the very least. He was my world and I am so lost without him. I know everyone is struggling right now, so any donations will be so appreciated.
