My name is Charles Nelson III (Charlie or Chuck by family and friends) I was diagnosed with stage three(3) Colorectal Cancer. I am 54 years old father of three sons and grand father of two grandchildren. I have a lot of life left and many adventures with my family still so going to give this a good fight. But due to expenses from Chemo, Dr. bills, CT scans, MRIs, and the blood test every three weeks. My savings have been depleted. I had to sell my truck because I could not continue to make the payments. And with the travel back and forth to Portland for the surgeon and then the surgery to come I have set up this go fund me to help with medical payments. I’m missing days of work now the further I get into this process and the medical bills keep coming and I’m having a hard time keeping up with them. So anything you can do to help me out is truly appreciated. I’m not the type to ask for help but cancer has a way of sucking the life out of you not only from the illness but from the debt of all the medical bills Chemo is not cheap and all the testing is not either. And stress from all the worry just makes this illness more unbearable. So I’m putting this in GODS hands because I know with him in my corner all things are possible.
