Chase Gephart Memorial Bench Fundraiser

There is a special memory that Chase and I had while walking on a trail together, which we did often. We came across an elderly man sitting on a bench. He was very kind and Chase sat down next to him. We all talked and laughed together for some time. He was especially fond of Chase and was very encouraging to him. Then Chase and I said goodbye and walked about 10 steps away, We both randomly looked back. The man was gone. We could not see him anywhere. We looked at each other and both thought he was an angel. We both talked about this interaction often throughout Chase’s life. It seems fitting to establish a park bench in Chase's memory so that anyone can have a place to fellowship with each other, and those that loved Chase can have a place to go to spend time remembering him and his beautiful soul.

Plans are in motion to establish a memorial bench at Gulley Park in Fayetteville.
