My name is Charles. I am trying to help my mom cover my stepfather (Vinny)'s funeral costs. He has been in a nursing home for almost a year. In the last few weeks, he became extremely sick and ended up in the hospital. After a short and intense fight with his illnesses, he passed away. Between legal costs we have had to pay and other unexpected costs, we have had to go with the cheapest options and are just looking to help cover the cost of the funeral and related expenses.

Vinny was my stepfather for over 20 years but has been in our lives for 31. I was 4 at the time. He supported us through that entire time. He was a stubborn man but tried to do what he thought was best. The last year has been hard on us as his mental, then physical health declined. He was very ill towards the end with many complications.
