Charles last adventure

Family & Friends, On November 24, 2021, Charles "Louie" Daukei took his final journey home. My father was a special type of man. He had a very free and wild spirit. No one could tell him to settle down and stay home. He lived his life according to his terms and made many memories along the way. My father was incredibly funny and laughed with us all. Do not get me wrong, he had that side of him that made us all shake our fists in anger towards him. But overall, Charles was very sincere towards those who helped him. He truly gave whatever he had to show that love and respect in return. Charles loved deeply and impacted all those who crossed his path.
Charles was a father, a brother, an uncle, and grandpa. He genuinely enjoyed any time he got to spend with us all. Losing him happened very quickly and unexpectedly. But he went peacefully and can finally lay his long traveling feet to rest. He will be missed dearly, but I know my father would not want anyone to be sad, because Charles truly did what he wanted to do.
I am starting this page to get my dad back home to Oklahoma from New Mexico. With the money being raised, this will help towards the expenses that are going to pay for him to be transported back home as well as any other funeral expenses that are expected to occur.
If you can help, please share this page, and donate. Any support that you can offer will be appreciated by the entire family and we just ask for the continued support of prayer during this time.
For a man who did not have a car, who had nine lives, as well as many "friends", he sure got around. Thanks dad, for that final laugh.
