Charles Horn Memorial Funeral Fund - Goal 1500
Donation protected
Hi, my birth-father Charles Horn is in the process of transitioning and seems very close to the end of this life. I was adopted 48 years ago meet him about 20 years ago. We have remained pretty connected. He served as a minister for many years as he changed his life from being stuck in worldly living. In October of 2020, we began studying the Bible; later in November, he decided that he needed to make Jesus Lord and was baptized into Christ. Currently, he has digressed in his health and has lost nearly 75lbs and is rapidly digressing quite a bit here in the Hospice facility. The Social Worker here on site has asked my birth-fathers's wife Barbara to begin making preparations should he pass away. They were both living tight with very little income coming in and will have to fundraise for 100 percent of the cost of taking care of his remains should he transition. There is a 4-hour window that the hospice allows the body to stay here before the remains would need to be removed from the property. Barbara is planning for the least expensive option which, includes cremation, the pick-up and transport of the remains to a destination where is prior family members have been buried and a simple Memorial. If there is anything you can do to contribute, please let me know or donate here, and I can communicate with her on your behalf. The goal is to raise around 1500 to take care of what is needed. On behalf of Charles and Barbara, and family, thank you for your consideration.
